Kitchen and Luxury Bath Renovation in Leesburg, VA
Homeowner Challenge:
This Leesburg primary bath renovation had the perfect property and horse farm facilities for the owner, but the home was dated and in need of significant updates to meet the owner’s modern tastes. The primary bathroom lacked the spa-like qualities that the owner had always envisioned. The space was constrained by the existing layout, leaving little room for the luxurious features the owner desired. Eager to transform his primary bathroom into a place of relaxation and rejuvenation, the owner sought a complete remodel that would incorporate unique design elements in a transitional style.
The BOWA Solution:
BOWA completely remodeled the primary bathroom, expanding it into the existing closet space and reconfiguring the primary bedroom’s sitting room to include a new walk-in closet. This allowed for the inclusion of all the elements the owner had envisioned for his modern farmhouse-style bathroom. The new design features a Japanese soaking tub set in a cove with shiplap walls and sconces, a Dekton mitered countertop with a waterfall edge, and stunning black metal-framed glass enclosures for the shower and water closet. The reeded glass enclosures create a distinctive look, while the Dekton was also used for the shower bench, coordinating perfectly with the subway tile backsplash at the vanity. Specially crafted stools provide access to the Japanese tub, adding a functional yet unique touch to the space. At the end of the project, the owner remarked that, despite traveling the world, he had never experienced a bathroom as extraordinary as this one—surpassing even his wildest dreams.
