BOWA Wins 2024 Remodeler of the Year Awards and Home & Design Award of Excellence

PRO Honors Two Luxury Townhome Renovations in Northern Virginia

BOWA is pleased to announce that two of our projects were honored in the 2024 Professional Remodeling Organization (PRO) Remodeler of the Year Awards in the “Entire House over $750,000” and “Residential Interior over $500,000” categories. Judging for this competition is based on problem-solving, functionality, aesthetics, craftsmanship, innovation, and degree of difficulty as assessed by an impartial panel of industry experts.

In addition, our team of experts was also awarded the PRO Home & Design Award of Excellence for a stunning luxury townhome renovation in McLean. This project is set to be featured in Home & Design magazine’s May-June 2024 issue.

Placing with a Merit Award in the “Entire House over $750,000” category, BOWA’s project was a top-to-bottom interior renovation of a townhome in McLean designed by Lindsey Britten of our In-House Design Team. The project included removing walls to create an open feel; the addition of a three-stop elevator and fourth-level bathroom; renovations to the kitchen, living room, office, bathrooms, and primary suite; and cosmetic updates to the basement, including a study room, home gym, and speakeasy-themed game/cocktail room with a bar and hidden access door. The interior upgrades in combination with the elegantly modern design created a stunning, yet functional home that exceeded the owners’ expectations.

The project earning a Finalist Award in the “Residential Interior Over $500,000” category was a challenging renovation of a historic Alexandria townhome built in 1784. Designed by BOWA’s In-House Design Team, the project included updates to the kitchen, patio, bathroom, laundry room, and fourth floor; releveling of the existing floors and ceilings; and an HVAC replacement. The team successfully navigated the challenges and the result is a charming design that honors the building’s rich history and clients who are thrilled.

These 2024 Remodeler of the Year Awards with PRO are the latest recognition for BOWA, which has received over 280 local and national awards honoring the company’s business, design, and construction expertise.
