From our first deck addition to our most recent whole-condo renovation, BOWA has grown up with hundreds of DC-area families over the past 35 years. It has been an honor to help these families transform their homes to meet their evolving needs. From making room for new additions and improving functionality for busy lives to preparing for aging in place and caring for in-laws, we’ve been there every step of the way. As we celebrate BOWA’s 35th Anniversary, we wanted to share some of the highlights of our journey!

It all started in 1988 when two college friends, Larry Weinberg and Josh Baker, set out to follow their shared dream of starting their own business. Fast forward to 2023, and we are officially celebrating 35 years of BOWA! Throughout our incredible journey, we’ve remained committed to helping families – clients and employees alike – improve their lives at home.
