Custom Luxury Condominium Renovation in Chevy Chase, Maryland

Homeowner Challenge:

The homeowners wanted to recreate the comforts of their single family home when they purchased a condominium at one of the area’s premier addresses just outside Washington, D.C. Built in 1999, the unit was somewhat dated and BOWA’s goal was to reconfigure the existing floor plan to maximize livable space while adding all the features of a custom luxury renovation.

The BOWA Solution:

In addition to reconfiguring cabinetry and appliances, the kitchen changes included removing the coffer from the ceiling as well as the center island which dramatically opened up the space. Finishes from the kitchen were also used in the adjacent laundry and butler pantry area for continuity and flow. The master bath was expanded to incorporate a walk-in shower and full-size soaking tub with a marble surround. Custom woodwork, a gas fireplace, built-ins in the front foyer and hardwood floors throughout add to the rich elegance of this Chevy Chase condominium.

Project Highlights:

  • White marble countertops in master bath for spa-like look and feel
  • Custom exhaust hood in kitchen modified on-site to conform to building’s existing mechanical specifications
  • Black quartz countertops and stainless steel appliances add modern feel to kitchen
