Exceptional, Luxury Condo Renovation in Chevy Chase, MD

Homeowner Challenge:

This whole-condo renovation in Chevy Chase involved transforming each area of the home to go from dark, dull, and dated to bright and luxurious. The existing condo was already a combination of two units, and the owners desired a more cohesive, open concept. In addition to creating a more unified space, their goal was to elevate the style of their home by implementing a modern look with high-contrast features.

The BOWA Solution:

Using historic plans of the building, BOWA’s experts determined the original locations of the mechanical systems and slab penetrations, many of which had been covered during past renovations. Using this information, new systems were designed to maximize ceiling heights, a more open floor plan with a better light flow, improved ducting systems, relocated baths, and all new custom contemporary finishes. With help from JLA designs and Studio 360, dramatic design elements that reflect the owners’ unique tastes were incorporated throughout each space. Despite the added challenges of the pandemic, the owners are thrilled with their new home, and they have since recommended their friends move into the building to hire BOWA as well!
