Join BOWA for the 14th Annual Autism Speaks 5K Run/1 Mile Walk

Autism Speaks Once again this year I am excited to serve as Sponsorship Chair for the Autism Speaks July 4th 5K Run – 1 Mile Walk, presented by BOWA.  This year marks the 14th Anniversary of the Autism Speaks 5K, and BOWA’s 11th year as a key sponsor.  Thanks to the ongoing support of all the generous sponsors, donors and participants, the race has contributed over $2.5 million to Autism Speaks.

This community oriented event is for both competitive runners and families with children of all ages, and is a wonderful start to Independence Day.

I hope you will consider supporting the Richie’s Racers team, in honor of my son Richard.  This year there are four great ways to participate – simply follow the link that works best for you:

  1. Donate – visit the Richie’s Racers team page and make a general donation
  2. Sign up for the Autism Speaks 5K Run – 1 Mile Walk on July 4th in Potomac, Maryland by joining the Richie’s Racers team and registering
  3. Join me and Richie’s Racers Team Bethany at the beach on Saturday, July 5th – details to follow
  4. Sign up for the “Virtual 5K” as a member of Richie’s Racers and run wherever you are
