Homeowner Challenge:

As one of the original residents of the Avenel community in Potomac, MD, the homeowners had never made any changes to their home and dreamed of a much-needed renovation. After talking with a close friend, who happened to be a BOWA client, they decided the time was right to start planning their remodeling project. They called BOWA to discuss their busy family’s needs and begin the design process.

The BOWA Solution:

Among the main goals of this renovation was to increase the size of the kitchen, improve the flow and add more natural light. They also wanted to modernize the adjacent laundry room and mudroom, reconfigure access to the garage, expand their master suite and make improvements to other areas of their home. The solution was a two-story addition to the center portion of the home with the remodeled kitchen and breakfast room on the first floor and a new family area below, as well as adding an addition above the garage to enhance the remodeled master suite.
