Outdoor Renovation in Great Falls Features Screened Porch Addition, Fireplace, and Patio

Homeowner Challenge:

As avid entertainers and lovers of the outdoors, these Great Falls homeowners wanted a screened-in porch to be able to sit outside year-round without worrying about weather or unwanted critters. On the ground level, their vision consisted of an outdoor kitchen space/patio and fire pit that could accommodate large gatherings. One of the main challenges was to take into consideration the site conditions and future backyard pool that the homeowners would like to have someday.

The BOWA Solution:

To create the screened-in porch, BOWA’s experts removed and replaced the existing deck and stairs. For the new staircase leading down to the lower level, high quality synthetic railing material was used and lighting for the stair risers was implemented. The outdoor patio/kitchen area was designed to accommodate a grill station, green egg, pizza oven and prep space, and includes seating with accent lighting. The new gas lit fire pit features room for Adirondack chairs and was built off to the side of the house, leaving space for the future pool.
